The Whalen Company Selects Jake Bailey for Regional Manager

January 16, 2017 – Easton, MD - The Whalen Company welcomes Jake Bailey to the position of Regional Manager for the East Coast.

In his new role, Bailey will be assisting manufacturer's representatives with pricing, sales, forecasting and marketing for the Eastern region of the United States.

Bailey graduated from Xavier University with a B.S.B.A. in 2005. In 2007, he started at ClimateMaster as a Sales Assistant. By 2011, Bailey had worked his way up to become the Midwest Commercial Regional Sales Manager, a position he held through 2016.

As a Regional Sales Manager, Bailey excelled at assisting representatives with problem solving and, increasing market share. Additionally, throughout his time at ClimateMaster, Bailey worked on high priority special projects, such as pricing software, sound analyzer, and project lead generation.

New Video Displays Whalen Fan Coils and Heat Pumps, Applications

May 3, 2017 - A recently produced video now features all of The Whalen Company's heating and cooling products and the applications for the Whalen products.

The video debuted at the 2017 AHR Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. and includes a brief description about the company and a timeline of the history of Whalen product innovation in the HVAC industry that spans from the 1960s to today.

Other interesting portions of the video include Whalen product research and development, product testing and investment.

The video then shows internal components of Whalen heat pumps and fan coils, as well as information on Whalen's new Closetline heat pump. Later, an animation displays how the slide-out chassis moves in and out of the Whalen WRX vertical stack fan coil, which makes maintenance very quick and easy.

New Ad Promotes Whalen Innovation in Various Trade Magazines

March 11, 2016 - It is probably not a secret to you that Whalen is an HVAC industry pioneer and has lead the way with many fan coil and heat pump innovations through the decades.

To further educate the public of Whalen innovation, a new ad with the headline "Leading Innovation Since 1962" is currently running in many heating and cooling-related publications.

The ad has appeared in The News, Mechanical Business magazine, ASHRAE Journal and HVAC Refrigeration Daily.

Diego Stefani Appointed as Director of Business Development North America

The Whalen Company is very pleased to announce that Diego Stefani is our new Director of Business Development North America.

Diego Stefani, Whalen Fan Coils and Heat Pumps In this new role, Diego will work to build the brand recognition and acceptance of Whalen fan coils and heat pumps in areas that we do not get our share of the market. His initial focus will be the west coast, along with select markets in the southwest, like Texas. We will evaluate our entire rep force and work with them to develop plans to grow every territory.

Diego comes to The Whalen Company with nearly 20 years of HVAC industry experience in international business development, sales and sales management. He comes to Whalen after having worked for CDI, Daikin and York / Johnson Controls. He has expertise in the sales of HVAC systems (residential /commercial/ applied), sales process design, sales training selling, strategic program initiatives, as well as effectively taking new products to market, marketing leadership, and channel development strategies.

Diego has received multiple sales growth awards. In Diego's time at York / JCI, he managed the western region and grew unitary sales from $24M to $150M in less than 10 years.

Diego holds a bachelor's degree in Business Economics from Brussels University - Vesalius College (in association with Boston University) in Brussels, Belgium. He is fluent in English, Italian, and French.

Diego will be based out of Flower Mound, Texas, where he lives with his wife, Jerusha, and 2 children, Olivia and Amelia. With his many years of domestic and international system expertise, he is looking forward to helping grow The Whalen Company to new levels of industry leadership.
