The Product Development Engineer will report to the Director of Product Development Engineering and will be responsible for all aspects of product design and development of HVAC equipment. Projects will include: new product designs, model extensions, redesigns of existing product, warranty reductions, product cost improvements, and alternate supplier qualifications. August 19, 2019 – Easton, MD - The Whalen Company is delighted to announce the promotion of Dennis Kloster to the role of Chief Operating Officer.
In his new role, Kloster’s responsibilities will include Operations, Sales and Marketing and Engineering. As the COO, he will focus on the day to day operations of the Company while working to ensure that Whalen’s long-term strategic goals are on track and are implemented.
Kloster previously held the role of VP of Operations with Whalen for the past 3 years. Prior to serving as President of DK Consulting, Kloster was the president of International Environmental Corporation for eight years. Kloster obtained a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Polytechnic and obtained an MBA from the University of Rochester. He has held positions at Carrier, York, Familian Northwest, Nordyne and StrionAir.
